I do love ants too, but not when they get in my outdoor cat's food bowl. They don't bite at all, but for some reason freak him out anyway.

About ants, well I don't care for the ones that attack cats and dog foods either. But, so many times I had to avoid stepping on them while rock climbibg, and it isn't always easy to do.

Yes, I go around them on the trails also. They often carry such big loads, much bigger than they are themselves. Impressive!
