My second high pointing trip was to Woodall Mountain, MS. This put me at 5 state high points visited.
The visit to Woodall Mountain was actually the byproduct of a trip to Hawk Pride ORV Park with the Toyota 4WD club I'm in. When mapping directions to the park, I noticed that Woodall Mountain was just a 40 minute drive to the west. Perfect. I could knock out another high point.
Once again, my buddy Al was with me, as he is a fellow Toyota 4WD owner and wanted to go on the wheeling trip.
Of course I took Poquito with me. :-)
Just an easy drive up a gravel road to the top. You will see signs to Woodall Mountain as you get close.
