This hike goes by VERY quickly. It's easy to miss the turnoff to Benchmark from the WCR trail. The turnoff is in a meadow with rocks that really have no business being there. Looks to me like there may have been two different lookout locations at the top. It was so windy it was raining up.
This peak had more rewarding views than I expected. The highlights were Kyes, Sloan and Glacier Peak. Many of the slopes were totally covered with Glacier Lilies which was an impressive sight.

Straightforward with good viewsThe trail was easy to follow and there were nice colorations on the slopes. Bad weather was moving in quickly so I did not stick around very long.
