In July 2009, I scrambled the very steep, loose and exposed north ridge with a great group of friends. None of us cared for its sketchiness, so we dropped partway down the west ridge from the summit to a point where we could downclimb class 3 rock to gain the steep snowfields leading back toward the Copper-Pica col. Then we traversed to Pica Peak.

From Copper PassLong trip but when we saw what the other way looked like we were glad we came in from the west. Incredible views!!!!!
