From Dragontail
I got to the top of Dragontail with plenty of time to spare so I decided to traverse over to Little Annapurna. It was nice to get deeper into the Enchantments.

Climbed in a morning on a backpacking trip to the Enchantments - a fun, easy walk-up.
I have yet to figure out what possible resemblance it bears to the Himalayan peak.
The date on this one is something of a guess, I know it was the summer of 2008.
A litle hike up from the enchanment lakes, and a beautiful view

Amazing Views!
Easy walk up the north side, beautiful day with great views. Tried to come back June 2011 to camp on the summit, but the climbing legs weren't in good enough shape yet.

It's worthy
I must say its a worthy visit, been wanting to do it for some time, especially when I would see it from Easton from the south.

Enchantment Slam!
In a two-day span with great weather and great snow conditions, Gimpilator, Josh Lewis, and I summited Colchuck Peak, then Dragontail Peak, then Little Annapurna, and finally Enchantment Peak. Over 10000' of cumulative elevation gain!
We waited a couple of hours after sunrise to ascend Little Annapurna, to give enough time for the snow to soften. Great views from the summit, but probably the least interesting peak of the four we visited on this trip. The next peak (Enchantment Peak) was a lot better.

awesome planet
This has one of the illest summit areas. I love the stone formations. We had a tricky descent trying to end up down by isolation lake.

Day trip from Stuart Lakes
Was initially aiming for Dragontail today, but the route was too corniced and avy prone to ascend, so opted for Little A, and was treated to a pleasant stroll through snowfields and 'enchanting' views.

Beauty!
What a view! Walked up this instead of climbing Prusik unfortunately (weather was no good). Still had enjoyable time in Enchantments before heading over to the west ridge of Stuart

Larch Trip
No snow on this fall larch trip. The summit plateau with large blocks was a real surprise.

Loooong day
Hiked from the trailhead for Colchuck lake. We didn't have a permit, so we did it in one day. Beautiful but exhausting. Nearly 18 miles and over 6000ft elevation gain, and we finished in the dark. Definitely an area I will be going back to though.
