Misty Mountains
I went with a couple of girls and it was a lot of fun. For one of the girls it was her first mountain ever. It's a great peak for beginner hikers because it only takes a few hours. We did it in 3 round trip. The other girl fell like five times and sprained her ankle...on flat ground. We don't know how it happened. I think she says she epitomizes grace and might be the person who signed the log right before me. Anyway, it was a beautiful hike and I thought I was in the Misty Mountains.

A branch bit my calf and then I sprained my ankle.
Just another day in which I epitomize grace! I should maybe learn to walk...?

Okay
Took an out of state friend so she'd not have to change too much elevation and still she struggled, but thoroughly enjoyed the trip. A good mountain but a better general hike to it. Wild flowers were blooming the whole route the day we went. A few gentle storm clouds swirled around but nothing right over us.
9/14/2014 Mini Brighton Ridge Run. From Twin Lakes Reservoir to Mount Millicent, then to Mount Wolverine, Patsy Marley, and on to Evergreen Peak. Interesting scramble/ bushwhack off of Evergreen towards Silver Lake. Kind of sketchy.
9/29/2012 Climbed with the WMC as part of a BCC super loop

Brighton Ridge 5
Still lots of snow and very windy. Started on Mary's Lake TH and continued past Dog Lake to the top of the Crest lift. I took the Pioneer Ridge/Brighton Ridge and hit Pioneer, Sunset, Tuscarora, Wolverine, and Millicent in 4.5 hrs. Pretty good adventure!
Been to the top of both as part of various ski tours in the area.
