Climbed with two friends in conjunction with Lime Peak. A steep slog for most of it, with a dash of mild scrambling which could have been easily avoided. Views along the scenic ridge were nice, and although the long, knife-like summit had too many trees to afford an amazing view the views from the top were still nice. There were some neat forests up top and cool cliffs on the way. Recommended!

Looks like Pinyon Pines Randy.
Took our party 2 hours to complete the hike up and down. We stayed at the top for a good several minutes. The views were exciting. Th Neebs was looking good as was the chief Tintic peaks to the south, all covered in snow. Everything to the west and north looked brown and angry. We should probably start sacrificing dogs named Jane so Thor will send us more of the white stuff. Oh yeah, this was a fun little hike. There is absolutely no trail so if you like bush whacking then this is would definitely be your thing.

Pinyons and Pachyderms
I found this mountain delightful. I was bummed I didn't need to pull out the crampons I got for Christmas, but still enjoyed the scramble up some rocks and the snow. I also was rather taken by the assortment of rodents. I enjoyed a nice mouse, but a bunny would elude me. All and all a good day. P.S. I think Rodents and Pachyderms are synonyms right?

Phun with a capital P!
The aptly named Pinyon Peak was gorgeous. It had a little bit of scrambling, some snow, some steep, some shale, some sexy scenary. Basically all the important S's. This was the hardest of the Tintic Mountains I have done, and was rather pleasing! Go have some phun ASAP!

Pinyon
The road to the trailhead was muddy and a little icy. The hike from the pass was snowy but not too bad in winter. Pinyon Peak via the southwest ridge was a nice route.

South Side
My wife and I climbed it from the south side and right from the highway on our way to Delta. There was some postholing, but we didn't need snowshoes.

Fun hike
Went up the west side and encountered more snow than expected but went down SW ridge, which is the way to go.
