Dayhike
I did this as a nice day hike. We cut up onto Stetattle ridge via a bushwhack up the gap between Sourdough and Stetattle. It was easy going.
There are a lot of ups and downs on the ridge. I was hoping to jog all the way over to the highpoint on the north end of the ridge, but we didn't make it due to time considerations and climbing partner konk-out. We got top notch views nevertheless.
Best views of 2015, hands down! We did a two day trip. See the trip report.

Beautiful day
Made it to the high point and saw a higher one at TAT. At home I found out that it's another mountain so my summit is safe... like that matters! Stetattle is very beautiful every step of the way. You can go as far as you want (just a mile up trail or the whole way) and still have a good time. I hear in late summer on dry years there are tarns up there to swim in.

Awesome!
Had a great trip with amazing views, although quite cold. Certainly a worthy visit.
