snow depthBelford was my first 14teener, did it in July 2005...curious as to the depth of the snow when you went up...as a flatlander going from 300 feet to 14,000 feet in two days was tough enough...I couldn't imagine doing it in the snow...you'd find me in the spring!

Re: snow depthThe snow was between 2-3 feet deep almost the entire way from where this picture was taken. It was all fresh powdery snow, therefore very taxing to the legs.

heyis it hard to get up missouri gulch in winter condtitions... is there a trail through the snow or do you have to bushwack?

Re: heyOn the day that I was up there, I was able to follow a trail the whole way to timberline, though it was difficult to find some times. With more snow it may require bushwhacking.
