1990's Bootleg Hut

The old bootleg hut located on the east slope of the saddle between Sherman Peak and Snow Peak in the Kettle River Range. Since this time a homegrown group of outdoor recreationalists known as the Kettle Range Ski Club, created a partnership with Republic Ranger District, and the Colville National Forest, and developed a remote shelter in the Snow Peak east basin, now known as the Snow Peak Shelter.
