A common view around Lake County this summer

A fire burns in Collayomi Valley to the east. The "Rocky" fire was huge, the size of Sacramento and took weeks to play itself out mostly uncontained. It was started from a faulty water heater. The "Jerusalem" fire was started by a pot grower trying to do a controlled burn to protect his crop from wildfires! Aug '15
