A lot of snow in Vallone di Solcio

In normal conditions for this time of the year, a hiking trail would lead up this valley. But things weren't normal. Yesterday, on my way up, the snow had been relatively soft and I didn't need any special gear. But this morning it was freezing, and higher up I really needed my crampons to get down safely. 23 June 2013.
