not easy...we have a pair that live behind us....not easy to get photos of. Will not make a noise until evening. Watched one hunt ducks once, unreal. Only bird who can displace a bald eagle from its perch/nest.

Re: Cool pictureThank you. I was hoping to get up to La Grande when I was living in Oregon. There is supposed to be some rare Great Grey Owls that nest somewhere near there. Thanks for the comments.
