I have spent staying up way too late reading through parofes' trip reports. They were always so genuine and captivating. Much love to his friends, family, and loved ones. You will be missed.
Hate to see this; what a vibrant and beautiful soul he was. I've enjoyed his stories and photos for years. Very sad and heart-broken for those who loved him.
I have gone back and forth with should I leave a post. I didn't know Parofes, never spoke to him.....only "know" him from his posts and his material and photos. I thought everyone here on SP said everything perfectly. So ditto that.
But I really feel SP has a special side to it to where we do know. And so Parofes I miss you, you are missed by all of us. Didn't know you.....but I did. RIP
Rest in Peace, Paulo. Best wishes to all of his friends and family. This was a beautifully written tribute, Marc. I will miss his optimism towards life even when things aren't so rosy.
