Above Maple Pass on the North Ridge of Frisco

My son Andrew scoping out the next scramble section on Frisco's North Ridge. We were up above Maple Pass enjoying some easy scrambling trying to find a secluded spot from the crowds at the pass. I didn't realize it initially but we were on the North Ridge of Frisco Mountain. We had no plans for bagging the peak, and didn't - just enjoyed the scrambling and a quiet spot away from the crowds for our break. Maple Pass Loop North Cascades National Park August 29, 2016
