Africa Ledge is the venue of many classic Table Mountain climbs.
"Arrow Final" follows the line on the right directly underneath the cable way (a hard-hat is essential as protection against the passing cable cars!), but most other climbs take in the grassy Upper Africa Ledge and stay a bit further away from the gawking tourons.
Some of the harder routes such as "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "Africa Arete" address the prominent overhanging central buttress.
