Aguja Poincenot (3002m) & FitzRoy (3375m)

Left to the massive Cerro Fitz Roy, there is the elegant spire called Aguja Poincenot. Named after a French alpinist who drowned in a river nearby, during the 1952 French expedition. Picture taken in early spring, from Laguna de los Tres. East face. Parque Nacional Los Glaciares - Argentinian Patagonia >> a mountain page about Aguja Poincenot will follow soon.

Impressive!

Those Ice/rock spires look pretty vertical and tough. Nice shot Antoine!

Stellar crack systems!
