Height ?Hi Rafa,
according to my "Editorial Alpina" 1:25,000 scale map, the height is 3107 metres. The map is 2nd edition 1999. Has Alba been re-surveyed?
cheers Johnnie

Re: Height ?It's an interesting question. The height 3118m is in the official list of peaks of 3000m, in the book of Luis Alejos, in the map of editorial Sua, in the book of Miguel Angulo "Pirineos 1000 ascensiones" but not in all the maps. Alpina show 3107m, as well in my edition of 2002. It's the same case of all the peaks of Western Maladeta, the height is not always the same in Cordier, SayĆ³, Bondidier, specially the Bondidier appear with 3185m in the list and with 3146m in the maps!!!!!!!... What's the real height? I don't know, buy in my gps the height was 3120m on the summit of Pico de Alba.

Re: Height ?Thanks for the feedback Rafa, I will edit my stuf to comply with your figure as I didn't have my altimeter when we did Alba.
This year we did Perdiguero but failed to find the Coll d'Albert in the clouds when we were planning on doing Forcanada.
cheers Johnnie
