Allen Mountain & Grinnell Lake
The turquoise waters of Grinnell Lake are a result of glacial flour accumulation, and are fed directly by the three glaciers of the Grinnell Glacier Basin: Grinnell, Gem, and Salamander. The bulky peak behind the lake is Allen Mountain, with the summit of Mount Siyeh hiding in shadow at the end of the jagged ridge to the right.
