"As an adolescent I aspired to lasting fame, I craved factual certainty, and I thirsted for a meaningful vision of human life - so I became a scientist. This is like becoming an archbishop so you can meet girls."

Winter Ascent - Enjoyed more than Lion's HeadAwesome winter approach to Washington Summit. I much preferred this to Lion's Head. Only saw a handful of people the entire day.

Used This To Go Up Mt. MonroeThis is a beautiful hike, both up and down. I was a little concerned about water on the slabs for the descent, but it was a non-issue.

Ammonoosuc RavineClimbed on a mild, partly cloudy day when the summit popped out of the clouds and I didn't want to pass up the opportunity of a brief window in the weather. The stream was really full because a foot of snow/ice was melting from Lake of the Clouds to the summit.

Did it twiceI climbed this trail once when I was 12 and once when I was 20. A great way to the top of the mountain.

A Great Way Up to Mt WashingtonWe were happy we chose to take this trail up. That way you get to throw in Mt Monroe as an added bonus.
