Re: wowIt was a very clear early spring day in late afternoon after a big storm. I did adjust the saturation a little after my scan but generally, my persistence paid off.

Re: There isThe relatively large telephoto I used distorts the view by compressing distances. The crazy thing is I was literally standing on the side of a busy street... not really **in** the mountains.

Fifty seven years ago.Here's a big mountain that I climbed in 1954. It looks much more imposing in winter. I ultimately plan to be buried in the town of Alpine just to the south of it.
I must say that you have really covered the mountains of Utah. I enjoy looking at your pictures.
