Have climbed three times now. Great scramble and nice views. Love the name, too! Don't put your stuff down or the squirrels and chipmunks will eat through your pack!

Amazing Hike
Really enjoyed this hike, a nice difference from my typical Sierra terrain. Perfect weather on the weekend before Thanksgiving. Say hi to the condors.

Excellent Hike
Fantastic weather and a beautiful view. I suffer from a lack of fear of heights so I wasn't even really using the chains to climb and passed a few people on the way up. People in my party thought i was a little nutz.

Angel's Landing
Really fun hike. Thought I'd try doing it without using the chains, but I used them near the top. Starting early lets you beat the heat and crowds.
seems like a lifetime ago We took our 3 month old on a Utah road trip. This was a great hike and I recommend the narrows for a different flavour too.

Awesome views!
While I expected 'company' on the trail... it was way more than I expected. Seemed a bit like an ant-hill - with constant stream of folks up & down.... Still worth the hike... but should have gotten there earlier in the day. :(

Fun way to begin the day. An early start avoids the crowds. Up next inspiration point!

Very fun
Very enjoyable hike at the beginning of a one week trip to Zion, Bryce, and rim-to-tim of the Grand Canyon.

cool view
i was sorta disappointed by the amount of 'exposure' on the hike. i was under the impression i'd be scrambling up a knife-edge ridge...instead it was an easy, quite wide path to the top. the view wasn't bad though, it was an easy up and down taking only about 1hr 40min

Very fun winter scramble
Lots of compact snow and ice on the ridge made for some interesting travel, but kept away all but a half dozen or so. Great views!

Exciting
I was scared enough in a couple of places to use the chains on the way up but enjoyed the exposure later. It was a great hike.
One day in the park and this is definitely the thing to do for the best views.

Awesome
Awesome scramble to the summit. Since we went in the evening on a weekday, it wasn't as crowded as normal, but we still saw lots of folks. Great views from the top and the knife ridge was spectacular.

Zion classic!
It's like climbing an oversized Bonzai. Chains and makeshift stairs lead the way, just watch out for the hundreds of people that will be using them with you. Angel's Landing has to be in the top 20 of classic National Park hikes.
Funny enough, this was a first date for my girlfriend and I. It turned out far better than meeting at a coffee shop.

A bit icy
The chains were really busy on our return from the summit, but was still a great hike with great views of the canyon. It was a bit icy in a couple sections which made it all the more hair-raising.
Alex Wood - Mar 20, 2010 12:35 pm Date Climbed: Mar 16, 2010
Sketchy with Ice
The trail up was nice, but once we got to the ridge and then to the little saddle, it became icy in certain area. Because of this, it wasn't as crowded as people say it is. Going down with the snow/ice was a little scary, but doable. Sick views

AmazingAwesome hike. I couldn't bring myself to use the railngs or posts; it felt like cheating. The route was crawling with people, but still worth it.

A few timesIn all different seasons--March, December (with snow), September, October.
It's always a nice hike, and you can run up it pretty quickly.
