Nice View
Nice way to end my morning in Zion. A few too many people for my liking but not a bad crowd considering the location/hike.

Great weather
As advertised - beautiful views of Zion Canyon! An early morning start ensured no crowds - up in 1h, back in 45'.

Fun scramble. Chains make it pretty easy. Saw a condor from about ten feet away. AWESOME!

Winter Failure
First person up the hill after snowstorm. The good news was there wasn't a soul to be seen, the bad news was the route had 4 inches of ice and snow. Got got by the whole vertigo thing and the prospect of a 1000 foot descent and took the turn back option. Fortunately no one was there to see it--took a hike of shame on the West Rim Trail instead.

Standard Route
Visited Zion with my wife over Thanksgiving weekend, though she didn't do this hike with me. This is a fun hike with great views of Zion Canyon. I got a pre-dawn start and had the summit to myself briefly which was nice but I missed out on some kller photos of the canyon which is shaded in the early morning. Great weather while we were there; clear skies and 65(F) during the day!

Club Climb
A sketchy venture on a rainy day with Sephira, Anthony, Bianka, Mason, Theresa, and Jessica. Met Kim and Holly on the way up while waiting for the group to make their way up. Luckily, no slips or spills on the wet rock. Great view as the sky opened up and revealed a rainbow in the valley below. Beautiful.

Freaky
Just guessing at the date -- did this many years ago. Freaked out a bit by the exposure but my wife talked me thru it.

Inspirational Hike
Met the most inspirational man on this hike. He came back to hike this after doing it 50 years ago. First time when he was 25 years old, this time, 75! Awesome!

5th or 6th time
Have hiked up to Angel's Landing every few years for the last couple of decades. It is a breathtakingly beautiful route. But the crowds are really getting to be too much on the upper section. It need not be dangerous, yet there are a lot of people up there with no idea of the respect needed for the exposure. In such close quarters, you can easily be impacted by someone else's carelessness. Young kids also really should not be taken up there, but some parents do so.

Obviously not something for people with aversion to heights but not very difficult and totally worth it!

Angels Landing
Wow this was a fantastic hike. I would not recommend it to those with vertigo, fear of heights, children under 12, or those with terrible manners. I was really appalled with a few people who didn't seem to care about the safety of others as they pushed their way back down.
