Snow hike!
Half the trail was snow and the other half was mud, but I'm still wholly glad I made it out to the Rocks on this sunny spring day. (My trail shoes, however, were less pleased... they're still in the process of drying.) I'll have to come up again to do some scrambling when it's dry.

AT Section Hike
Another beautiful view on our AT Section Hike. Between the campground and the rock climbers it was a busy place when we stopped by.
My buddy and I climbed this mountain many many times through the years growing up. We learned to backpack and camp here. Back then there was only on occasion where you would be sharing it with another group. It has been sad to see how it changed over the years with abuse. It is still good to see that some people care and are striving to maintain it.

AT Section
Hiked up here after staying the night in Pine Knob Shelter on a section hike of the AT with my wife. We had the Overlook all to ourselves, but it was almost completely fogged in. You could barely make out Greenbrier Lake and the valley below.

Hiked this section of ATand that little climb up from the road in the dark is fun too! All the hikes through here the past thirty some years and I've never seen a climber!
