Appleton and east drainage

A view looking up at Mt. Appleton and its east ridge. There appeared to be a direct route up to the grassy upper basin apron from the meadowy area at 3900 ft: simply take to the talus at far right in the photo then crash through some trees. But there are other ways to get to Appleton. Aug. 12, 2017.
