Between the highest tarn and the summit we saw just about a dozen hikers. To our surprise, there were about fifty at the summit, most of whom had come from the Albanian village of Valbonë.

It seems that Maja Jezerce, although its not the highest peak in the country, is to the Albanian hikers as important as Krivan to Slovaks.
