Easy walk up normally, but when I went up this one it was a horizontal ice storm whiteout. Good times...lol. I wouldn't recommend doing something like that unless you know the terrain well previously.

Via Argentine Pass from Montezuma
All day the weather threatened, and until we got back safely into our trucks, the weather held out. Amazed by the number of mountain goats in the area. The wild flowers were fantastic.

Frist Climbs
Together with Decatur (12,890 ft) and Square Top (13,794), Mount Argentine was one of the first peaks in Colorado I climbed. The date is just a guess - it was quite a long time ago. We camped at Shelf Lake, gained the ridge to the west, and then hiked the ridge to each of the high points.
Summited Square Top Mountain, Argentine Peak and Mt. Wilcox on a bluebird day from near the Guanella Campground. Saw lots of mountain goats between Square Top and Argentine and wild flowers were everywhere. Still a little snow here and there but it can be avoided.

We did the north ridge from Argentine Pass & Waldorf Mine. We saw goats butting heads on the pass.

From Waldorf Mine
It was a cool, windy day. Climbed with wife and 4 year old daughter. They made it almost to the top. Have been back to Waldorf many times over the years. The road has deteroriated over the years. Quite rough down low. Better towards the top after it levels out. Nice Front Range summit.

Climbed the north ridge from the pass, after summitting Mt. Edwards. A few small ridge points make for enjoyable scrambling. Nice views.

Did Argentine as part of a cool loop from McClellan to Otter, just before the first big storm of the year came in. 2nd time on Argentine.

NE face ski descent
What JT said. As a side note, it's possible to skin from the Guanella Pass Road to the summit without ski crampons. One brief steep spot on the summit ridge requires a bit of side-stepping, but otherwise an ideal peak for ski touring.

NE face ski descent
Climbed from guanella pass with gahugafuga, skied the face, then traversed back to the Wilcox saddle. Saw large canine on slopes of wilcox. Beautiful weather, awesome day.
The well defined trail was a little crowded (as is to be expected this time of year). Once above Silver Dollar Lake and only a few other climbers were about. An EASY hike!
