Nice page Martin, have you ever done any of the other routes? Eric and I were rained off the NE Buttress and I regret never having gone back to finish the climb.



On the way out we rested along-side mountaineer creek on a sandbar and found a tree blaze with carvings and a bullet casing driven into the wood; the date was from the 1880's.

Thanks for the vote. I haven't done any other routes except for this easy couloir. The NW Buttress rock route looks fun. I believe that the North Face is unclimbed in winter. I've seen several photos of the face with some steep runnel systems formed. You should go do the first ascent this winter.
