Ascending the switchbacks in...

Ascending the switchbacks in big trees just before the stream
crossing. Despite being steep, the trail is tame compared to
the upper section where switchbacks are rare and the terrain
is much more rocky/rooty. (taken September 24, 2004 by
Scott Veirs).
