Good first dayGood first day walking on Lanzarote, we started from Yaiza and climbed the northeast ridge in quite pleasant, cool weather. It brightened up on the summit and was sunny later.

Together with my girlfriendTogether with Yvonne. We started from Femes and followed the broad path up to the summit. We ignored the radio installations on the summit and just enjoyed the perfect views from the summit.
Fuerteventura can be seen clearly as well as a large part of Lanzarote. Nice morning trip.

Highpoint of the dayStarted from Yaiza to Montana de la Cinta, returned to Yaiza to climb onto Atalaya de Femes. Descended to Femes Village, then to the south side of Femes Valley to bag Pico de la Oveja as well.

Climbed from YaizaClimbed Montana de la Cinta and Atalaya de Femes in one go. Good views but somewhat too hazy. Didn't like the radio installations on top.

Enjoyable hikeReached the summit from the village of Femés, in a short hike, and I was rewarded by a most beautiful panorama of the southern coast of Lanzarote and nearby Fuerteventura.
