Autumn color

It is hard to believe that the 2nd of October 2010 would turn out to be one of the hottest days ever recorded on this date. Well, when we ran out of water further up the mountain, well past Dale Peak, we became believers. It was truly the hottest October day I have ever hiked on.(about 90 degrees)Dale Peak is about 3 miles away (on the right) in this pic. 10-2-10
