Re: AwesomeThanks for your enthusiasm over this one, Bob! I like it as well, and interestingly enough, the photo was taken sometime during the early afternoon--usually not a good time for light. Picture was taken from the shoulder of Wilbur--a mountain you might well wish to do! (It's a technical climb, but not considered difficult.)

mt. wilburhow difficult is the climb on mt. wilbur? i'm going back there this summer and plan on climbing the most mountains i can there in the 3 months i'll be working there. any thoughts?

Re: mt. wilburWilbur is a technical climb, although not the most difficult in the park. You might wish to communicate with Fred Spicker, who has the page, and has climbed the mountain. Three months in Glacier? I'm more than a little envious!!!!

Re: Yup.Agreedand I find that as the years pass, the addiction grows. It's 135 miles from my house to the West Glacier entrance. Never, ever, EVER, do I take GNP for granted!
