Bald Mountain
Hit impassable snow patches 1.5 miles from the top, but was able to finish it off with the ebike.

Check
This was part of a 2.5-day push on the following Washington & Idaho counties: Stevens, Pend Oreille, Bonner, Boundary, Kootenai, Benewah, and Latah.
After the midnight push and bone-jarring drive on Latour Peak, the dogs and I headed to Bald Mountain. Googlemaps attempted to take us on a road that was gated; luckily it was only 100 yards off our route up Latour, so we just headed back to the interstate and took highway 3.
We took the roads all the way to the summit, and we arrived there sometime between 4 and 5, parking right under the tower. After a couple hours of sleep, we stepped out to drain the bladders and perform some cursory ablutions. The views from the tower were nice but not jaw-dropping.
Man is it dusty up there. It must have been an inch thick on the parking lot and road. It was impossible to avoid kicking it up, and it clung to everything. So at least the interior of the vehicle was set to match the scratches from Latour Peak.
We were exhausted. It was time to head home.

Drive-up.
For the fourth peak of our day, Paul Michelson and I visited this peak which had multiple valuable aspects (CoHP, P2K, LO, etc.).

drive-up
I drove up this one with my son Lance and then followed it up with a drive to the top of Peterson Point in Benewah County. We were back in St. Maries for breakfast at 8:30 am. This was my 11th Idaho Cohp.

mixed bag
My daughter and I drove most of the way up Palouse Divide Road before hitting an impassible snow drift about a 1/4 mile before the junction with Bald Mountain Lookout Rd. Hiked up the snow drifts to the summit in fog and drizzle with my daughter on my back. No views today. Planning on hitting this again on my mountain bike via the trails at White Pine.

Drive up
Nice drive up, just after some early November snow. A few weeks later it would not have been accessible by car.

multiple times
I've been on this summit multiple times, mostly via the road, but I have also hiked up the trail from the south. Incredible views from here. When the air is clear even the Wallowas in Oregon are visible.

A drive up
I combined this one with Moscow Mtn later in the day. The road was good all the way to the lookout and the lookout was being used by some folks who had rented it. I was here because I like lookouts and county highpoints.
