Banita Gorges

Cheile Băniţei (RO) are located 8 km NW of Petrosani town. In the past it used to be covered corridor, whose ceiling collapsed. This narrow canyon boasts almost a quarter kilometre tall limestone walls meticulously chiseled by the water.

Starting my winterlife in two weeks time! :)

Finally, truly lovely winter around our places this season and I still haven't even touched it, but hopefully, very soon.

Thanks for publishing Carpathian pics day by day Luk, I find some great, sentimental value in them these days...
