It would be a priviledge to even backpack around the area - great photos and an amazing looking mountain.

Nearly to the pole on this interesting page

82 N and Cape Columbia is only 83 degrees 7 min a bit farther north. Cape Morris Jessup is 83degrees 39 min N. Probably no more 8000 foot mountains this far north in Greenland either. Great pictures too.

Another amazing page about a peak I previously did not know existed. And so few summit attempts. Sounds as difficult to climb as the high peaks of Antarctica.

Thanks for sharing information about such remote mountains Tim. Exactly the kind of place I might one day choose to go to during my holidays, but I have heard it is quite expensive bussiness to go to a place like ellesmere island.

You did it again! Great information on another remote peak. I doubt I'll ever go there but I enjoy reading about these summits.

Thanks

Gangolf

Great page Tim!! I enjoyed reading and learning about this remote corner of our planet. Agree with Johan, remoteness and wilderness of the place makes it very attractive destination but I bet I'll never visit except if I win lottery :-)

Aleksandar, I am sure that after you have published your book on Velebit, you soon will be in the possession of enough funds to go to ellesmere island, and beyond!

Johan, here we have a saying 'from your mouth to Gods ears' :-) But no one here gets rich from that business, only maybe if SP gang helps it become international seller :-)

Excellent work. I'm going to have to spend some time and check out all of your pages as this one is so well done. Fun to read about peaks / places I've never heard of and learn more.
