Took the cabelcar to Robiei and made a bivy 200 meters above Robiei (Alp Randinascia). The next day we climbed the normal route under cold and snowy conditions. A nice climb.

Route Climbed: from Capanna Basodino Date Climbed: august 2004
Very pleasant and easy route, from Capanna Basodino. The last part, starting from the "stone steps" at the base of the glacier, then the (easy easy) glacier itself and the final ridge is very funny. Alas, clouds were sweeping the summit (above half the glacier) so that I've missed the final view... It can be a good chance for a 1-day expedition if unstable weather conditions suggest you not to try a longer route on higher peaks.
Route Climbed: ski traverse from Rif. Maria Luisa to Cap. Basodino Date Climbed: May 23rd 1999
it was rainy when we woke up at Rif. Maria Luisa. Many climbers were disapponted and went down to the valley. But at 9 o'click weather turned suddenly and it was a beautiful day on a prominent mountain.
