Wilderness Fun  Sucess!

This was part of a 3 day, 60 miles of hiking trip that Redwic and I made by driving around different parts of Okanogan County. I broke my arm back in July so I could only use on trekking pole. Bauerman is just about four miles away from each of the well known summits of Windy, Remmel, and Cathedral. The summit views are some of the best to be found in the area. Special thanks to Redwic for suggesting this peak and making the trip happen.

What A View!!!  Sucess!

I cannot say enough great things about the views from the ridgetop of this mountain. Spectacular!!! Well worth the off-trail hike, which was nothing overly technical. "Gimpilator" accompanied me on this obscure but fun summit hike. We found fresh tracks and scat from bighorn sheep, but did not see any animals. We figured they heard us coming and walked away.
