Seems a bit early ..

The leaves in Arizona usually don't start
changing until the third week in October.

Looks like Utah might have an early winter.

Re: Seems a bit early ..

Your right Larry...the colors this year started a few weeks ago....which is early for Utah. The trees up there know the seasonal weather better than us so who knows...maybe it will be a big winter up in Utah this year?

To confirm the trees information I checked out the seasonal forecast on NOAA and it looks like they are correct. From about Utah's city of Nephi up to Canada will be above average in precipitation through March. Wish I could say the same about Arizona....oh well. Happy Trails brother of the south.

Ha, ha...

Locally, it's been really wet in Arizona lately. A very rare event occurred in Phoenix: "Golf-ball sized hailstones busted
out windows in cars."

Just goes to show you're never going to
completely predict the weather by relying
on charts and graphs.

Happy Trails, my brothers of the North..
