From Preston Valley Trail Head
Came up from the Preston Valley Trailhead, the first two miles have a pretty good incline, but there is also loads of shade. Then there is a good long ridge traverse but it's very enjoyable.. I got 10 miles with 3,400 feet of vert.

40th Birthday gift to me
I have been wanting to climb this one for a long time now. So glad I did! This will become a regular one. Went up from the Wind Caves Trailhead. Everything is still so green from the wet year.

Via Preston Valley TH
Started at 3:45am and hit the summit before sunrise. Taking the lower route around the south side of the peak sucked. Overgrown and a tad tricky in snowy conditions. The ridge route is a lot better. Beat the sun but didn’t have time to catch the sunrise before heading down. Beautiful day and an awesome trail except for the last portion before the peak
Started early, saw a couple people along the way but no one at the summit, got down maybe an hour before a huge storm rolled in.
Went up from the Preston Valley trailhead. If you're planning on going that way make sure your vehicle can handle the road. It won't be friendly to low clearance cars or if you have regular tires.

Great April Snow Hike
Had to get out before finals week. Since the snow level was relatively low for the season we had to go bag it. Went up from Wind Caves. Lots of snow up on the ridge. Beirdneau was buried in snow. Logan Peak looked especially majestic.

Off Trail
Scrambled up from the S / SE some time in the year 2000. Don't remember much about it, but I had a good time on the descent.

Beirdneau
Great views of logan canyon from the top. nice shade throughout the hike.
It was nice to hike on a trail for a change. I startled a rattle snake on the way down on the ridge, by the one small rock outcropping.

Great Views
Hiked to the peak, via the Preston Valley trailhead in Green Canyon. I came with a Geomorphology class on a field trip. Many of us were stung by bees, multiple times as we neared the ridge.
At about 8,000' along the ridge, I found the fossilized remains of a Mississippian aged coral reef. The coral was everywhere. It almost felt like I was on the reef itself. Very cool. There were more fossils too at the peak itself.
We went back, the way we came. The views of both Logan and Green Canyons were fantastic. We only saw a couple other people that day. It was nice, and off the beaten track. Well worth the hike.

Third try...
Up Tab Hollow seemed to be the shortest way. Trail is faint and sometimes hard to follow. Exited a very thorney hollow the second time, much better up on the ridge. Looks like some good ski lines...Nice vew!

A little Snow...
Hiked up Tab Hollow, possible one of the best kept secret trails in Logan Canyon. Lost the trail (snow covered), found it and lost it again. Some what of a terrain trap but, the wife and I will be back to ski it in the spring!

Beirdneau
I hiked up the Preston Valley Trail (Green Canyon) with my wife. For mid-May the lack of snow was really abnormal. It has been a really low snow year. We didn't see another person the entire hike. Nice views all along the ridge to the peak.

Beirdneau Peak
I approached the peak from Green Canyon. The fall colors were still visible in October. Beirdneau Peak was dry but the higher peaks had already received snow.
