Bell Lake in the Tobacco Root Mountains

Bell Lake, in the Tobacco Root Mountains, Montana, USA. 24 August 2023. It rained hard the night before my hike to Thompson Peak; we experienced the tail-end of tropical storm Hilary. The lake had a very turbid appearance. This suggests to me that a landslide from the NW face of Branham Peaks (right of photo) had occured recently.
