"So I was sitting in my cubicle today, and I realized, ever since I started working, every single day of my life has been worse than the day before it. So that means that every single day that you see me, that's on the worst day of my life."

Untitled CommentAgreed. Ben Mac Dui is remote, so not always a day trip proposition, hence fewer posts.

Untitled CommentCome on! Let's give the guy a chance!
It's obvious he just posted the mountain, and plans on improving it daily by adding pictures and more information.
The 2nd in Scotland deserves a page. But we are all hungry for more.

Untitled CommentPretty nice page. Google earth suggests -3.67 longitude rather than your -3.65. I have not checked on Streetmaps UK.

Untitled CommentThanks, it's a great site. The first mountain I looked for was Ben Mac Dui, but it wasn't there, so I put it up. I will add my own photos as soon as I scan them in.

Untitled CommentNice page Bermo. I'm a bit confused about the Getting There section however. It might just be me, but I can't make sense of your text. You seem to say that on leaving the ski centre the corrie in front of you is Sneachda, and that you climb its west-bounding ridge to get onto the plateau above the Lairig Ghru. That seems to shrink the mountain a bit. Really there are three corries, with a ridge bounding the west side of each in turn. From left-to-right looking from Coire Cas car park they are: Coire Cas (the ski pistes), bounded on the west by Fiacaill a'Choire Chais ridge. Then you've got Coire an t-Sneachda, bounded to the west by the Fiacaill Ridge: this is a summer grade 1 scramble, or a winter grade I/II climb, so I'm assuming it's not the ridge you're referring to. Last in line is Coire an Lochain, with a broader ridge to its west, up which goes a clear summer path that meets the rim of the Lairig Ghru and then hot-foots it straight towards Macdui. Is this the ridge you're talking about? That seems most likely from your route description. If so, I reckon you need to be a bit clearer about it: it's a big corrie system which I guess could look like one thing at a glance from a distance, but up close the three corries are very distinctly separate from each other...
Cheers
dan
