Nice lonely hike
I did this one utilizing the Jaoquin Miller trail. Still a little snow above 7000 feet, and some deep snow along the skyline. Beautiful views, with the cascades visible to the west, the Steens to the south, the Elkhorns to the NE, and Strawberry Mountain towering directly east.

Lovely summit view
Other than the hammering sound of someone apparently collecting rock samples below the trail, I saw or heard no other person on this hike/climb. The summit was roomy and the views were lovely. It would make a very pleasant and scenic bivy site, were one prepared for it.
