Nice trail, very green and lush at the upper part. Views are somewhat limited, some good ones from the road. The summit itself...well, not so great. Still a nice and worthy hike though.

Up Power Line Scar and Ski Descent
Thought it would be a cool idea to hike up the NE facing powerline scar and ski down. Well, the scar has tons and tons of undergrowth and lots of huge boulders. Aside from a few powder turns, we did not find that it was a great ski descent and had to hike down in most places due to crummy snow conditions

Lazy
For the lazy ones, you can drive a car pretty close to
the top. I'm one of the lazy ones ...
Other decent peaks in the area: Sitgreaves, Kendricks.

Awful
A beautiful area with an appalling summit mess. What an eyesore.
Peak #3 of a 6 peak weekend. This followed two classic Grand Canyon temple ascents.

Bill Williams Mtn Trail
Kind of a steep grunt with minimal views in the upper canyon. The hike up the last part of the road offers some great views in all directions, though.

Great trail from below
My wife and I hiked the peak from the trailhead near I-40. Great hike, very green in the high canyon. My 'birthday' hike, and a great day all around. Highly recommend the trail.
Summitted on Tuesday, September 16, 2003. Quite windy at the top, especially when climbing the Fire Look Out ladder. Used the hike as a warm-up for Humphreys Peak which I summitted the next day.
I got started a little later than I had hoped, and spent a little too much time at the summitt talking to guy in the look out cabin. I was glad I brought along my headlamp as the sun set before I reached my car.

My first time up BW....had a great solo day with my young labrador...
Bit breezy at the top, but it was a warm day and no jacket was required. Rested and ate lunch at the junction of the road, where there are some log benches.
Some snow patches in the shade near the top. Relief for my labrador pup who likes to snowdive!
The box at the top of the LO Tower was locked, but I was still able to climb the stairs and get some great 360 degree views.
