"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."

Nice day and mountain climbed by the normal-Lizara routeNadie and me left my car at 10:40 AM - 1.525 m, passed the hut and took the forest trail to the N, following the GR-11.1 trail. Soon the forest trail becomes to be a path in the pasture and turns to the left (NE), below a big wall. At 11:50 AM - 1.905 m we rested for 20 minutes while eating some power bars and drinking water. Reached Collado del Foratón (2.016 m) at 12:35 PM, then the trail leaves GR-11.1 and turns to the right (NE) on a long slope. We stopped 30 minutes for having lunch at 2:20 PM - 2.555 m. So at 3:20 PM we were on the summit. A pair of Catalonians appeared soon and we were talking to them and taking some pics. We stayed on the summit 40 minutes until starting to descend. At 5:30 PM - 2.050 m, just above Collado del Foratón, we rested 20 minutes again and followed descending to the refuge, wich we'd reach at 7:20 PM. We drank some soft drinks and drove back to the camping in Hecho. It was a sunny day with good views on the top and we could see a roe deer below the big wall of Llano de Fetas, on the descent.

Route Climbed: Lizara Date Climbed: 14 june 2003Great and fast climb to this mountain with my friend Fernando in 2 h 15 min (buff, normal is 3h 30min). The view in the summit are wonderfull.
For the descent we follow to Col de Secus (north face) for a beautiful narrow path with a lot of snow (with crampons and piolet in the car! argggg). The normal route is easy but never understimate this mountain with snow.
