"After the first glass, you see things as you wish they were. After the second, you see things as they are not. Finally, you see things as they really are, which is the most horrible thing in the world."

Windy DayI knew it was going to be windy. Luckily I hiked in the morning before it got to be extremely windy.

Afternoon hikeNice climb, but was rather warm starting at 2PM. Had to take it a little slow as I brought my German Shepherd with me whom I didn't want to overheat. Lovely outing!

Fast hikeDid not see a single person the entire morning even though it was a holiday for many. Went up w. ridge to Pyramid Peak, then south to Bishop Cap, then down to bike trail. Fast hike, but great view of areas I've only noticed from I-10.

Short and funI had seen this peak numerous times while driving on I-10, and today was finally the day to get out of the car and climb it. It's a fun climb with lots of cactus and a little route finding near the top.
