Back in January of last year, I did a little hike up West Mountain, which is east of Vernon but on the southern end of Utah Lake. I had a good look at Black Crook Peak from there and I'll have to look through my pics to see if I was sharp enough to have taken a pic from there. West mountain is a road walk up to a tower complex but a nice view point nonetheless. Some nice views of Nebo, Loafer, Santaquin and Lake Mountain range from there.
If you have any pictures to add, that would be great. Looking at West Mountain on the map, it really is all by itself so you must have had some excellent views.. I will have to check this one out sometime :-)
