NiceI have often experienced the Balsam trees while hiking to the higher elevations but I have never seen them with such great definition as in this picture. It is really cool to see the exact line.

thanks for the post!the balsam line looks very cool indeed. When I climbed the Blackheads a few weeks after this I especially liked climbing from black dome to thomas cole without leaving the balsam once. It was my own winter wonderland.
