Short, easy hike. The summit is fun to scramble around.
One of the very finest views in the entire park, absolutely spectacular
The sky was very clear and the temperature was in the mid 50s. Nice views from the summit. Saw plenty of birds and deer.
I didn't know this was a summit. Oh well, I'll sign it.
Took me 61.5 miles to summit this point. Started at Rockfish Gap and hiked the AT to Front Royal.
...but at night when I was pretty drunk. Cool to see the lights of Luray far below. Done it a few times sober since then.
I hiked around the Big Meadows area for 8 1/2 miles or so during this hike to explore the area. I summitted Blackrock within the first 2 1/2 miles.
