I started at 1 P.M. on Tuesday and arrived at the Blue Hole on Wednesday morning. On the way back I was walking along a ridge, when a rock broke and I slipped into the wrong stream system putting me behind the wrong waterfall on the way back. I spent six hours trying to find my way out. After walking up and down the system I discovered that I was blocked on both sides by waterfalls. Eventually, I found a vine that allowed me to climb back up the ridge were I discovered a hunters trail. Overall it was an amazing trip!

Blue Hole Adventure
It took 7 1/2 hours to complete the roundtrip, with a bit more than an hour spent getting lost. It wasn't wasted time as I got to explore other stream channels and climb some 45 degree jungle slopes for some extra excitement. This is one of the coolest (literally) hikes on Kauai, surpassed only by the Kawaikini adventure via the Alakai Swamp. Trip Report

Waterfalls onlyNeed to go back at some point and continue to the end, but swimming in the two waterfall pools was really nice.
