Slab Creek Campground
I guess we are among the few who didn't drive up. Started down at Slab Creek Campground. About 12 miles roundtrip, 3500' of gain on a trail that was pretty steep in places.
Arranged to be picked up by the fam at Deer Park at the End of a long trek. When they arrived, we all strolled up to the summit, and I pointed out the places back in the interior I had been the previous week. It was a good cap to an adventure.

Camping above the clouds
Strange weather inversion meant that trailhead temperatures were lower than the summit. We were treated to clear skies, a beautiful summit sunset, and a surprisingly warm hike out.

Winter Snowshoe
We camped near the summit after ascending the east ridge. A strange temperature inversion created warm temperatures all weekend.

did it
The drive up in my rv was treacherous. It took less than 10 minutes hiking to summit.
I can't take much credit my car did most of the work!

Sunrise
Went to camp at Deer Park, but there were no places... so we explored around and hiked up Blue mtn just before sunrise. Absolutely beautiful. A very easy hike to reach such amazing views. Can see well into the Olympics, and across the water into Canada too. Well worth the drive up to Deer Park.

Great Views, Easy Hike!!!
I took my dog up the Rainshadow Trail with me. The mountain is fairly barren of plant life, but has great southern views towards the central Olympic Mountains. Highly recommended, especially for novice hikers.
